What is WorkWell?
WorkWell is a voluntary programme aimed at people who have a disability or health condition that is, or is becoming, a barrier to their employment. It is a light holistic coaching model to support patients; They MUST want to return or stay in employment. It is not an alternative route into NHS services for health conditions.
WorkWell is accessible to anyone in Herefordshire and Worcestershire who:
- Is a resident with an address in Herefordshire or Worcestershire with a registered GP
- Aged 16 and over
- Are in work, off sick or recently unemployed due to a health condition
WorkWell Can Support Employees With
- Mental health
- Musculoskeletal (MSK) (conditions that may be helped with physiotherapy or guided exercise)
- Cardiovascular disease (CVD)
- Conditions linked to Menopause
- Neurodiversity
- Returning to work following long-term absence
- Other conditions that may require non-medical or low-level medical interventions or where the individual may benefit from general counselling or coaching
Our Friendly WorkWell Coaches Work With You To
- Build confidence and manage your health in relation to work
- Explore workplace adjustments or flexible options
- Communicate with your employer if needed
- Develop a plan for a sustainable return to work
- Access other health, wellbeing and employment services if helpful

You can refer yourself directly, or ask your GP, employer or another professional to refer you. Simply visit WorkWell :: Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care System or for more information and to make a referral.
